Sean Connery
The actor's appearances ranged from Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), Thunder Valley (1967) and Diamonds Are Forever (1971), and the version in which Connery appeared was so iconic that it was voted the American Film Institute's third greatest screen hero.
George Lazenby
He is an Australian actor and former model. However, he has only appeared in one film, the shortest time of any actor in the series to play Bond.
David Niven
David Niven played James Bond in "Casino Royale" in 1967. This is one of the few Bond films not produced by Eon. That's why many people don't remember him at all.
Roger Moore
By 1985, Roger Moore had taken over the role of James Bond actor, appearing mainly in James Bond Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, City Under the Sea, Space City, Top Secret, Octopussy and Bond's Thunderball. He has the highest number of appearances.
Timothy Dalton
Timothy Dalton first played James Bond in 1987. But the critical reception was not good, and his 1989 appearance in "Licence to Kill" was rated the most boring and serious James Bond film.
Pierce Brosnan
In 1995, he delivered a surprise when the James Bond films were rebooted. His starring role in 007's GoldenEye not only reinvigorated the 007 franchise, but also further enhanced his status in Hollywood.
Daniel Craig
In 2006, at the age of 38, Daniel Craig became the sixth generation of James Bond, starring in James Bond vs Casino Royale, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Breaking the Sky, Ghostbusters and No Time to Die. He is also the only James Bond actor to appear as one of Britain's national cultural icons at the London Olympics.
